So I went to Slider Station for Iftar yesterday and just HAD to take some pictures of everything just so I could share it with ya’ll. How blogger of me? (Do excuse the fact that these are only iPhone pictures as I had not taken my actual camera)

So, SLIDER STATION. Apparently known for their American Tapas – which I did not try out, unfortunately. I was just feelin’ for burgers yesterday so thats what I got. The restaurant is located in Galleria Mall on Jumeriah Road, it wasnt the easiest thing in the world to find the place but we somehow managed to!

The whole setting of the restaurant was just so rustic and urban, I loved it! Everything was wooden, the ceilings were super high with little lights dangling about, and the waiters were all dressed up in jumpsuits! Overall, the ambience was amazing. The staff were very friendly and the presentation of the food was lovely too! We reached the restaurant around 20 minutes before Iftar and it was quite empty, but literally 5 minutes before Iftar the place was so full with people lining up waiting to get in!

NOW LEGGO TO THE FOOD. They dont have a proper menu as of yet but had a ‘kickstart menu’ which had quite an interesting selection of dishes. The food is not overly pricey which is amazing, and its definitely worth what you pay for.

Their menu was printed on cardboard which I found really cool for some reason, im just a sucker for things like this, I guess.

As it was Iftar, they served us some laban and a few dates to break our fast with, and then served our food around 5 to 10 minutes after. This, I found pretty impressive as I despise having to wait for like 30 minutes ish for my food after just breaking my fast!

I dont remember the exact name of what I ordered but it was a beef burger which was coated with bacon (beef bacon, holla), lettuce, onions, jack cheddar and some kind of special sauce. The burger itself was not as big as I would like it to be but it was served with a HUGE portion of fries! Every table had a huge bottle of ketchup and siracha sauce! It was my first time trying siracha, and oh my god it was good!

The burger and fries tasted delicious! I loved what I ordered, and so did my friend who ordered the little red slider you see in the picture. 🙂

As for drinks, their selection was not as vast as most restaurants, however, we ordered a salted caramel milkshake, a mint and orange blossom lemonade and a sparkling water. The milkshake was AMAZING, it had the best balance of salt and caramel ever and obviously tasted so good. The lemonade was super refreshing and perfect for iftar and the horrid heat here in Dubai, I do wish the  flavours of the orange blossom was more prominent but its okay because the mint and lemon was just as good!

Overall, I had a lovely experience at Slider Station and would definitely go back!
