Everyone loves a good face mask, I know I do! Something about having a face mask on is just so relaxing and calming for me. I usually stick to either mud masks or sheet masks. Peel off’s have never been of interest to me until as off lately 🙂
I have used a peel off mask before, it was a blackberry mask by bath and body works. It smelt so good but was actually so bad, it dried out my skin like crazy and never used it ever since! Cue the Montagne Jeunesse Masks. These masks have caught my eye ever since I was a little kid (well the women’s faces on the packet did anyway. Kinda creepy no?). I decided to take the plunge into peel off masks again and im quite glad I did! I tried the manuka honey mask first and then the green tea and ginger mask.
I loved using this mask so much. Especially the peeling off part – its just so satisfying 😀
The mask in itself feels quite comfy on the skin, it isn’t hard to apply at all and had a slightly citrusy scent. It wasn’t strong at all which was a plus! The masks take around 15-20 minutes to dry out, it does feel a little uncomfortable and tight but don’t all masks give that feeling?
My skin felt super refreshed and smooth once I peeled it all off, my pores felt like they were thoroughly deep cleansed too! I definitely recommend this mask, specifically the green tea one over the manuka honey one. These masks are available in most supermarkets and cost around AED 8, I get two uses from one pack!
I will definitely pick some of these up for when I go on holiday this summer 🙂
