Empties!

WARNING – grubby looking packaging alert?

I’ve always wanted to do a post on my product empties but somehow end up throwing it away – leaving me with no empty product to take a picture of! However, I have been saving some up for this post so yay?

Personally, I love watching videos and blog posts on someones empties because of the full on trustworthy review of the product as its all used up!IMG_4888

Micellar cleansing water is a product that I absolutely feel incomplete without. I loved using the Bioderma cleansing water (pink cap) but its quite expensive and why spend so much on something when there are products just as good as it in the supermarket? Cue L’Oreal Paris Micellar Cleansing Water. This stuff is just as good as the Bioderma one, almost identical really. As you can see from its packaging, it claims to do 5 things. I would say it does live up to its claims but I’m not too sure about the ‘Illuminates’ part. I dont think it has illuminated my skin in any way really, but it does a great job in cleansing and removing make up! I always use it post makeup removing to get whatever is left off. I think I got this for about AED 27 from Carrefour.

The Body Shop Camomile Eye Makeup Remover however is only aimed at ‘eye makeup’ specifically. Unfortunately, I didnt fall in love with this product. It does remove eye makeup but not so much gel eyeliner and mascara.ย I ended up using this stuff on eyeshadow the most. I prefer the Camomile Oil Cleanser by TBS much, much more. Click here for a review on that ๐Ÿ™‚

IMG_4886One of the most important products in my skincare routine has got to be toners and moisturisers. Because cleansing could strip out all the moisture and oils from the surface of the skin, toners and moisturisers help add that healthy level of moisture to the skin (with a whole load of added goodness obviously). The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner is just on the top of my favourite toners list! I’ve been using this stuff for over a year now and its so so good! It is not the most hydrating, but helped me get rid of some stubborn blemishes ๐Ÿ™‚ These mini 60ml sized bottles only cost AED 15. I have however purchased a new toner and a review of it will be shared soon ๐Ÿ˜€

IMG_4887Moisturising always comes after cleansing and toning, and the Soap and Glory For Daily Youth was a dear good friend of mine in the moisturising department. Loved using this stuff, it made my skin feel so soft and gave it a healthy glow too! Smelt of peaches and worked like a charm. I got this from Boots pharmacy for AED 105. It definitely is on the pricier side, but it was worth it ๐Ÿ™‚

I am officially on the lookout for new moisturisers, so do share me some of your suggestions if you got any ๐Ÿ™‚

IMG_4885The Body Shop know how to do Body Butters the right way! This Coconut scented body butter was everythinggg to me. Perfectly moisturising and smells so so so good! I usually tend to use this at night becauseย of the greasiness it leaves behind, sort of. I got this in a set of 5 mini body butters for around AED 110 if im not mistaken.

IMG_4883MAKE UP EMPTIES! Face makeup is literally the only thing I can actually finish. And so far, I’ve emptied out a foundation and a concealer. The foundation is the Bourjois Happy Light Foundation;ย this foundation is literally my favourite. It lasts all day and blends so well, it provided a light-medium coverage and was super super light and not cakey at all! I used the shade ‘golden beige’ which was the PERFECT shade for me! Love love love! Definitely repurchasing. I got this foundation for about AED 95.ย

The concealer I finished up was the Sephora Collection 8 hour Perfect Cover Concealer, I used the shade medium which was a relatively good shade. It did last long under my eyes but was a bit creasy when applied with no primer underneath. It did cover my horrid dark circles though ๐Ÿ™‚ Got this for AED 75 from Sephora.

So thats the end of my empties, BUT im going to cheat a little and include some products that are NEARLY empty. Because Im probably going to throw them away once they’re over..

IMG_4893Ive been using this Shower Gel for the past few months now and been loving it! Its the Body Shop Moringa Shower Gel. My parents decided to get me the huge 750ml one because it was on sale or something, which left me with only using this shower gel FOR MONTHS! And im so glad its finally getting over :’)

It is good though.

IMG_4894Been using this product on a daily basis and been loooooving it. The Soap and Glory Scrubatomic face scrub is full of antioxidants and peach extracts. Works really well when used on a daily basis and has transformed the texture of my skin for sure! I got this from Boots Pharmacy for AED 75.

IMG_4896Ive hit pan on my Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder and am so so glad to. This one has served me well. It made my makeup last long and keeps everything matte forever! Okay maybe not forever, but definitely matte. Im still going to see how long I can survive with this guy and then purchase a new one. Im thinking either the too faced pressed powder orrr a translucent one. Thoughts?

And thats about it! Thanks for reading my post.

The clinic gel mousturizer is great! You can get a 14 ml bottle for pretty low, compared to the big bottle of it. It sinks into the skin fast and leaves a good moustrized barrier, it’s especially great under makeup ๐Ÿ™‚ loved this post! I love reading about empties. I really want to try that toner, it sounds so great…
