Good Morning Everyone!
If you’ve been a regular reader of my blog you would’ve come across my little beauty haul recently. I must say, I have been trying out some of them and they were so good they made it to my favourites! I couldn’t quite pin point all the make up that I’ve been loving because I’ve been using a whole mix of old and new.
So here are my 4 most used lip products of January.
Both these products are in a chubby stick sort of packaging, obviously inspired by the Clinique Range.
Rimmel London Lasting Finish Colour Rush in Keep Mauving
I had to swatch this product a few times to get the real shade on. Its super moisturising and easy to apply without a mirror. It gives off a gorgeous pink sheen which is not overly glossy which I love. I’ve been reaching for this one the most when I want a natural but not natural sort of look. Im not sure about the price of this one in Dubai or the availability of this shade either because I got this one from London.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Sultry
Definitely the winner of my most used lip products. If you know me, you’ll know I love everything matte. And lately, I’ve only been reaching out for shades of pink. This product right here is a beautiful matte pink shade that is perfect for every day wear. Its super long lasting and is also very moisturising even though its matte!
I definitely recommend this one.
These balms cost around AED 65 here in Dubai, but Im not sure about if this shade is available here.
SEPHORA Cream Lip Stain – AED 79
A very comfortable and light weight lip stain. It has a very creamy consistency and is a dream to apply. It is matte but it isn’t drying because it contains avocado oil in it apparently. Its definitely long lasting and very silky smooth!
I’ve been using this on the centre of my lips on top of most lip colours, it gives the look of fuller looking lips 🙂 There is a HUGE array of shades available on the sephora website, but unfortunately only 4 in Dubai. Not gonna lie, I do want to get myself some more!
You cant go wrong with a body shop lip balm. Especially if it smells like raspberry candy! Super moisturising with a hint of pink, small enough to have in my bag which is where it usually is.
Perfect on its own, or before lip stick application 🙂
Thanks for reading, hope you have a lovely Friday!
