#9. Cinnamon Latte!

You’re gonna love this one if you’re a coffee lover like me!

For the past couple of weeks now, I’ve been crazily obsessed with cinnamon lattes especially when i had finals to study for and reports to submit! Everyone loves a bit of coffee or tea when working on something or the other, WELL I KNOW I DO!

Just felt like sharing my recipe for my all time favourite home made cinnamon latte! You know its always good when you make it yourself! Even if you don’t have work to do, and you’re on winter break like me – a good ol cup of this magical potion feels perfect for this chilly weather!

This is one hella simple recipe and it could be changed up based on your preference! Also, this recipe yields one cup, so you know what you gotta do if you want to whip this up for a 100 people.

Ingredients – 1 cup of milk, 1 stick of cinnamon, 2-3 spoons of sugar , 1/4 cup of espresso or strong coffee, whipped cream to top.

First thing you gotta do is infuse the cinnamon into the milk, this is done by adding the milk into a pot on medium heat along with the sugar and cinnamon stick. Stir it a little so the sugar dissolves, but DONT wait until its all boiled up! You just want it to reach a light simmering point and this is when there are tiny bubbles forming around the edge of the milk. While the milk is done doing its thing, pour the espresso and milk into your favourite mug and BAM! Cinnamon latte done! In my opinion though, this latte is soo not complete without whipped cream on top, and i love whipped cream!

The picture on the right is just one of the million cups of cinnamon lattes i had during the exam season! Clearly, i go all out with the whipped cream!

You can certainly replace the cinnamon to something else like a vanilla bean or dark chocolate! Do try out the cinnamon though, theres just something so magical and yum about it when mixed with coffee!

And thats the end of that story really!

Thanks for wasting your life on my blog! Peace!
